Whatever you do, DON'T CHANGE YOUR MIND

When it comes to things that you want to buy, buy them. If you can't buy right now, plan to buy them for later. That is the bottom line. 

The more you neglect the things that you desire, the more disappointment and failure you'll have. If you are planning your wedding and can't afford the things you really want, then wait to get married. Obviously if there isn't another reason stopping you that takes priority over this point. The point is that the things we desire matter and whether we get them actually matters too. 

I have known people that would go to the ends of the earth to get what they wanted and they eventually got it, although with great difficulty. Was it worth it for them? I can't speak for them but I can speak for myself and yes it was and will always be worth it. 

The moment you give up on the things you want, you give up on yourself. It doesn't necessarily have to be material things, it could be a promotion, or a spouse, whatever it is don't change your mind on getting what you really want no matter what, circumstances may change and your feelings will too but the moment you change what you want, you are settling and you won't even realize it.

Changing your mind before getting what you truly desire will cause further disappointments along the way and the mind will think that settling is satisfying when in actuality you are just living in a delusional state. So go on, buy that dress, girl!
